As you may have read, one of my big site initiatives is to get more into Competitive Gaming. No matter what game you may be interested in, there is usually something cool to watch. In addition to that though, with all of the work we have been doing with Mass Effect Marathon, I want to be able to keep everyone informed on what charity gaming events are taking place. Therefore, every week I’ll be writing up a section called What to Watch, which will give you some cool gaming related livestreams that you may find interesting to watch the upcoming weekend.
This coming weekend of June 15-17 we have a lot of great events coming up. One of the biggest LAN parties in the world is going to be having a ton of eSports action with big games like Starcraft II, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and many more. Not to mention that one of the last major fighting game tournaments before EVO 2012 goes down as well. Charity wise, while Mario Marathon may be coming next weekend, there’s still a ton of great marathons supporting some fantastic charities.
If you have an event you would like to have featured on What to Watch, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or leave us a note with all the vital details in the comments below.

League of Legends is supremely popular, and a fun game to boot. With so many people playing the game, there’s usually not too much down time between matches. With that in mind, the League of Charity 24 hour gaming marathon for Child’s Play Charity, should be action packed! Go watch as players go through a wide variety of games over a full day, attempting to raise some money for the children.
