g33kBowl Week 6 Predictions

I am so tired. Super tired. New York Comic Con kicked my ass all weekend. So much so that I almost forgot to put up Week 6 g33kBowl predictions. I didn’t want to forget, but running around an extremely large conventional hall will do that to you. So here I am, on Sunday morning, rushing through these predictions in an effort to not miss any week during the season. It’s because I love you all so much. Also I would just hate to do all the week’s possible but miss just one.

In my rush I don’t have a lot of advice to tell you about. All I will say is everyone needs to stop telling me not to pick them. I get that people are superstitious but damn people. I mean I have to pick someone! I mean that someone might be you, so just get over it! If you lose it wasn’t my fault. Unless it was my fault. I take it all back, it might be all my fault. Good Luck!

Prediction Record: (16-19)

Week 6 Matchups

Binary Rock-Jocks (3-2)
Tuchanka Thresher Maw’s (4-1)

I love Binary and he has been doing fantastic considering that he has been dealt with a season without Peyton Manning in the lineup. That being said, the QB, and RB’s for the Thresher Maw’s are very solid and have just been having a fantastic season thus far. When it comes to Week 6, I am just worried that it will be too much consistent play from the Thresher Maw’s for the Rock-Jocks to overcome. The Rock-Jocks will have to play a perfect game, which they are capable of, but I just don’t see in the cards right now.

Predicted Winner: Tuchanka Thresher Maw’s

Mars Space Cowboys (3-2)
The Besaid Aurochs (1-4)

This week I show blatant favoritism to my wife. I know that Pedro and the Mars Space Cowboys have been playing extremely well but there is some great talent with the Aurochs that just needs to show up at some point. This week, I think that all comes together for her and she pulls out an exteremly close match.

Predicted Winner: The Besaid Aurochs

English Kniggits (0-5)

I obviously want the Kniggets to win a game and break the streak. I just look at the players on both sides and see what is present at the QB / RB positions. In many ways that is the most important roles for a team and right now with Drakmarth’s core of LeSean McCoy, Michael Turner, and Matt Schaub, it’s just a lot more imposing. I can definitely see the Kniggets getting a big game from Arian Foster, Darren Sproles and Brandon Marshall, but I’m going with my gut this week.

Predicted Winner: ARRGAN IISOU

Team Malfunct (2-3)
Team Caporrino (1-4)

Malfunct and Cappy have been fighting back for a long time this season. Cappy hasn’t lived to her potential, and Malfunct has been learning more and more about the game as the season has worn on. Malfunct is very superstitious and believes that he will always prove me wrong, so let’s see that theory works out this week. I think Cappy has the better players, so I’m going to go with her. Perhaps, that will inspire Malfunct’s team to player out of their minds. =)

Predicted Winner: Team Caporrino

Zombie Black Bears (3-2)
Hoboken Dread Pirates (2-3)

The eternal battle of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit rivalries that have has ever existed … here on g33kWatch. This week the Dread Pirates have to use their backup QB in McNabb, but he also brings back Miles Austin and DeSean Jackson back at WR. I simply like the RB / WR core of the Dread Pirates more than I like the Burress / Deion Branch setup for the Black Bears.

Predicted Winner: Hoboken Dread Pirates

Scottish Highlanders (2-3)
NJ Fear Boners (3-2)

Tough week to predict what could be happening. The Bye week teams and players are starting to really take their toll. MZ and the Fear Boners have the solid players of Jahvid Best and Michael Vick, but is a little week at wide receiver. The Highlanders though are running with Stafford, and the Johnson Non-Twins. Based on the strength of how great that core has been doing, and bringing back New England TE Hernandez, I’m going with the Highlanders in this one.

Predicted Winner: Scottish Highlanders

Week 6 Spotlight Match

Lunaris Robunnys (4-1)
Citadel Spectres (4-1)

Crazy matchup this week as two of our 4-1 teams square off to try and figure out who’s the best. Usually I like to bet against myself because I see a lot of the flaws in my team and assume the worst. This week though I think that both teams are suffering from Bye week players. This week though, I like the players of the Spectres a little bit more than the Robunnys. The decision really came down to Cam Newton is a better Fantasy player than Mark Sanchez. Maybe not fair, but I’m tired and don’t need to be fair. =P

Predicted Winner: Citadel Spectres

  1. No! Life has proven when Bromey chooses you! You fail! D:

  2. Here’s an abridged version of this article:

“I’m tired, out of Rage Quit Relief, and I don’t want to write this but will anyways. You’re welcome, assholes. First off, Everyone stop bitching. Except for me, because I’m tired. My picks are as follows: my wife wins, blah blah blah, I win too, fuck yourselves.”

And yet, his writing is as awesome as always. And he correctly predicted the ass-whooping my Rock-Jocks are receiving.

    Sleep well, JoeyV!!!!
